After months of waiting, Hogwarts Legacy has arrived on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The game is proving to be a massive hit with Potter fans as they eagerly get stuck into life at the legendary school.
In Hogwarts Legacy, players join the eponymous school as a fifth-year student in the 1890s. The game takes place a whole century before the Harry Potter novels and films. And this allows it to tell its own story about “a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.”
Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive RPG that allows players to experience life as a real student. You can create your own witch or wizard, pick your own wand, and even choose one of Hogwarts’ four houses.
Critics and fans have given the game a great reception. It offers many puzzles to solve, challenges to complete, and enemies to defeat.
Once you’ve settled into the mythical school of witchcraft and wizardry, you are free to explore, attend classes, learn spells, and discover everything the Wizarding World has to offer.
Players who purchased the Deluxe or Collector’s editions of Hogwarts Legacy will be able to access the Dark Arts Battle Arena, which is a special location where you can practise your magical combat skills.
But exactly where to find the Dark Arts Battle Arena isn’t clear when you first jump into the game.
What Is It?
The Dark Arts Battle Arena is an area in Hogwarts Legacy accessible only to players who own the Deluxe or Collector’s versions of the game.
Players are immediately able to use four Unforgivable Curses in the arena. They are Avada Kedavra, Confringo, Crucio, and Imperio. You do not need to have unlocked them in the main game.
Upon entering the arena, you must fight and defeat five waves of enemies. Each wave is stronger than the last.

Thankfully, it isn’t too tricky to locate the Dark Arts Battle Arena. However, you will need to complete a brief puzzle before you can enter it.
This is where to find the Dark Arts Battle Arena in Hogwarts Legacy. The Dark Arts Battle Arena is in the Forbidden Forest. It is north east of the the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame. The arena has its own marker, so you should be able to see where it is on your map.
When you reach the arena’s entrance, you must smash ten white jars in the vicinity to gain access. They aren’t particularly difficult to find and you can cast Revelio to highlight them if needed.
Once you’ve destroyed all ten jars, head back to the entrance and you will be able to enter the arena.
