Avalanche Software has finally announced new content for Hogwarts Legacy. The news comes after more than a year of complaints about the lack of DLC for the game.

The free update will arrive on all platforms – PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch – on June 6th. And while it is the game’s most significant new content drop yet, players are sure to find it lacking.

Most notably, the “Summer Update” will add Photo Mode. Players will be able to take and edit in-game pictures of their wizarding adventures.

Other highlights from the update include the ability to reset talent points and the addition of PlayStation-exclusive content on other platforms.

Unfortunately, that’s about it. While Photo Mode has been highly-requested, fans would no doubt prefer new quests to sink hours into.

Exactly when (or if) that content will see the light of day remains to be seen. But, for now, players will have to make do with Photo Mode as they wait patiently for something more exciting.
