Hogwarts Legacy: How To Sleep

This guide explains how to sleep in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy allows you to jump into the shoes of a student at the legendary boarding school. With so much of the game faithfully reproduced from the books and movies, there has been some confusion about sleeping in your assigned Hogwarts dormitory.

The game features a dynamic day/night cycle that allows you to venture through the huge wizarding school as if you were a real student.

As an immersive RPG, many players will want to replicate an authentic daily routine. And that includes going to bed after a long day of classes and activities. However, the game doesn’t tell you how to sleep and fast-forward time.

So, let’s go over how to sleep in Hogwarts Legacy

How To Sleep In Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy has vast common rooms and dormitories for players to explore. But it doesn’t include the ability to actually sleep in your own bed per se. For many, this will be disappointing.

Thankfully, there is the ability to wait and skip forward in time. And this can be used to simulate sleep in Hogwarts’ famous dorms.

This is how to sleep in Hogwarts Legacy: Players can sleep by using the ‘Wait’ function next to their bed. Simply open the Map menu and press R3/RS/F on PS5, Xbox, or PC to advance time forward from night to day or day to night.
