The Dark Arts gear set is available to those who pre-ordered or purchased the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy. If you didn’t buy that version, these special clothing pieces are unavailable.
However, despite being a premium bonus, the game doesn’t explain how to equip your character with this unique gear set.

How To Equip Dark Arts Cosmetic Set In Hogwarts Legacy
Dressing your character in the Dark Arts gear is easy and it doesn’t come at expense of your stats or abilities.
This is how to equip the Dark Arts Cosmetic Set in Hogwarts Legacy. Press the Options/Menu button and select “Gear”. First, ensure you have clothing items equipped on each available slot. For example, select “Handwear” and equip Black Leather Gloves.
Go back to the main “Gear” screen and hover over “Handwear”. You will now see the option to “Change Appearance” on the Black Leather Gloves. Press Square/X to do this. Under “Collections”, you will see the corresponding Dark Arts cosmetic to equip.
These steps apply to each clothing slot, with Dark Arts cosmetics being available for each of them.
And there you have it – you can now wear your special Dark Arts items around Hogwarts and stand out from your classmates.
