This guide explains how to craft potions in Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy has finally arrived. After more than two years of non-stop hype online, Harry Potter fans are at last able to play the Wizarding World RPG they’ve always dreamed of.
In Hogwarts Legacy, players join the eponymous school as a fifth-year student in the 1890s. Its time period sets it clearly apart from the Harry Potter novels and films. This allows the game to tell its own story about “a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.”
Players are also able to put their own stamp on their Legacy adventure. That’s because you’re free to create your own witch or wizard, and even experience your very own sorting ceremony.
During your time at Hogwarts, you can forge relationships, learn spells, brew potions, and explore the world in and around the school in exquisite detail.
Early reactions to the game have been very positive. And as players get stuck in, they’ll start to encounter numerous puzzles, challenges, quests, and enemies.
With Potions being such a huge part of studying at Hogwarts, players will want to know how to craft their own.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to craft potions right from the start in Hogwarts Legacy. Instead, players need to advance through the game and complete a necessary quest.
So, let’s go over how to craft potions in Hogwarts Legacy…
How To Craft Potions In Hogwarts Legacy
Combat is a central part of Hogwarts Legacy. As with all games, this necessitates a way to heal. And one healing method is drinking a Wiggenweld Potion.
Wiggenweld Potions are available right from the start of the game. But once you have used your existing supply, you will want to brew more.
The game also has many more potions that offer a variety of special effects for the player to take advantage of.
However, you need to advance far enough in the game to craft potions.
This is how to craft potions in Hogwarts Legacy: You must complete the ‘Potions Class’ main quest. You can then use the Potions Station in the Potions Classroom to brew your own magical concoctions.
Thankfully, the Potions Class quest isn’t too far into the game’s main story. This means that the ability to craft potions becomes available pretty early on in Hogwarts Legacy.
All you need to do is go to the class and follow Professor Sharp’s instructions.
