This Hogwarts Legacy guide explains how to climb the battlements in The High Keep quest.
After months of waiting, Hogwarts Legacy has arrived on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The game is proving to be a massive hit with Potter fans as they eagerly get stuck into life at the legendary school.
In Hogwarts Legacy, players join the eponymous school as a fifth-year student in the 1890s. The game takes place a whole century before the Harry Potter novels and films. And this allows it to tell its own story about “a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.”
Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive RPG that allows players to experience life as a real student. You can create your own witch or wizard, pick your own wand, and even choose one of Hogwarts’ four houses.
Once you’ve settled into the mythical school of witchcraft and wizardry, you are free to explore, attend classes, learn spells, and discover everything the Wizarding World has to offer.
Critics and fans have given the game a great reception. It offers many puzzles to solve, quests to complete, and enemies to defeat.
One quest that has players stumped is The High Keep. You meet Natty at Falbarton Castle to get a letter with Rookwood’s seal.
But before you can collect the letter, you need to get inside the castle. And while the quest is relatively straightforward, the first part is a little confusing.
Your first objective is to “Climb the battlements”. After climbing the first outside wall, you find a large crate and must manoeuvre it in order to climb higher. And it took me far longer than I care to admit to figure out exactly what I needed to do.
So, check out the steps below if you want to know how to climb the battlements in the Hogwarts Legacy The High Keep quest.
How To Climb The Battlements in Hogwarts Legacy (The High Keep)
The High Keep quest requires the Wingardium Leviosa spell before you can start. So, you might erroneously use Wingardium Leviosa to try and solve the battlements puzzle.
Once you climb the first wall, you need to open a gate using Depulso. Inside the room is a large crate. To get it out of the room, use Wingardium Leviosa and then position it at the foot of the next wall.
This is how to climb the battlements in Hogwarts Legacy. Once the crate is positioned against the wall, use Levioso. This will levitate the crate and allow you to climb onto it. From there, you can climb up the battlements.
And there you have it – it’s actually really simple.
You can now move onto the next part of The High Keep quest.
