This Hogwarts Legacy guide explains how to activate and align the three statues in the Gringotts Bank tutorial section.
Hogwarts Legacy is finally upon us. After more than two years of non-stop hype online, Harry Potter fans are at last able to play the Wizarding World RPG they’ve always dreamed of.
In Hogwarts Legacy, players join the eponymous school as a fifth-year student in the 1890s. Its time period sets it clearly apart from the Harry Potter novels and films. This allows the game to tell its own story about “a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.”
Players are also able to put their own stamp on their Legacy adventure. That’s because you’re free to create your own witch or wizard, and even experience your very own sorting ceremony.
During your time at Hogwarts, you can forge relationships, learn spells, attend classes, and explore the world in and around the school in exquisite detail.
Early reactions to the game have been very positive. And as players get stuck in, they’ll start to encounter numerous puzzles, challenges, quests, and enemies.
The first of these comes during the game’s opening tutorial stage, which takes place primarily in Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
Your character and Professor Fig come across mysterious knight statues and their reflections. When you are separated from Fig, you encounter three knight statues and must make each of them stand and align at the same time. But exactly how you do this isn’t clear.

Hogwarts Legacy: How To Activate The Statues In Gringotts Bank
Solving this statue puzzle is essential to progressing through the tutorial part of the game. Thankfully, it isn’t too complicated.
But players should prepare to fight the knight statues, which come alive and turn hostile once the puzzle has been completed.
This is how to activate the statues in Gringotts Bank in Hogwarts Legacy. Cast Lumos to make the statues’ reflections follow you. Approach each statue one-by-one and make their reflections match. This will get them to stand and lines on the ground will be revealed showing the exact point where the statues intersect. With Lumos casted, stand at this point. This will solve the puzzle.
Now you’ve completed the puzzle, you must face off against the statues before you can finally reach Hogwarts and begin your journey at the school.
