The so-called “unlimited stratagem” glitch for Helldivers 2 has been patched as part of the game’s latest update.

Stratagems are a key part of the combat in Helldivers 2. They allow players to call in airstrikes, reinforcements, supplies, turrets, and more.

These can be difference-makers during intense battles and challenging situations, however they do have their limits. Players can only use them a limited number of times before they enter an extended cooldown period.

Despite this, players discovered an exploit that granted unlimited uses of stratagems.

How to do unlimited stratagem glitch in Helldivers 2

Before the glitch was patched, players could follow the steps below to get unlimited stratagem uses:

  • Stay on your ship and don’t move until the game kicks you out for being AFK.
  • Log back into the game immediately.
  • Start a new mission.
  • Equip the supply pack and three other stratagems.
  • When you arrive in the mission, your soldier will be holding a pack if you did the glitch correctly.
  • You now have access to unlimited stratagems.

Has the glitch been patched?

The unlimited stratagem glitch has now been fully patched in Helldivers 2 and it no longer works.

Developer Arrowhead Game Studios confirmed this as part of the update 1.000.13 patch notes, which stated: “Fixed: unlimited stratagem use glitch which occurred after an AFK kick”.
