Fortnite OG map code: How to play Atlas in Creative 2.0

The original Fortnite map remade by Atlas in Creative 2.0

The Atlas Fortnite OG map code has been released to coincide with the launch of Creative 2.0.

Like many live service games, Fortnite has changed a lot since its initial launch in 2017. Not only have new gameplay features been introduced but the battle royale map has been completely replaced. Many fans reminisce about the Fortnite OG map from Chapter 1 and are eager to revisit it. Released this week, the all-new Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) – better known as Creative 2.0 – finally allows players to go back to Fortnite‘s original map.

Creative 2.0 utilises tools from Unreal Engine 5 to give players a huge amount of creativity when creating their own islands and mini-games within Fortnite. One creator team named Atlas Creative has stepped up and used UEFN to give fans what they have always wanted: the OG Fortnite map.

Map codes allow players to quickly and easily find a specific island within the game. Creative 2.0 maps are no different. Simply enter the code below and you can travel back in time to the original Fortnite map.

This map is a recreation of the original Fortnite battle royale map from Chapter 1 Season 3 and is currently in beta. As a result, players may encounter bugs, glitches, and performance and graphical issues as they play.

The team at Atlas Creative said they “wanted to release a perfectly accurate, 1:1 version of the island”. Unfortunately, memory issues meant they had to scale back the project to “nearly 1/4 of what we wanted to give you all.”

While this current remake of the Fortnite OG map might fall a little short, Atlas are hoping to add more and get the map “closer to the version we wished to release” as Creative 2.0 grows.
