Elden Ring has earned near-universal praise from gamers and critics alike. And much of that praise is being directed at the game’s incredible setting – the Lands Between. The Lands Between is packed full of interesting and awe-inspiring locations that are dying to be explored. One of these is The Shaded Castle, which can be found in Altus Plateau. The Shaded Castle is surrounded by enemies, including Poison Flowers, Poison Slugs and more. Inside, you’ll encounter Undead Soldiers, Cleanrot Knights, and Depraved Perfumers among others. The castle also features valuable loot and a boss fight – Elemer of the Briar. So, you probably want to know how to get inside. This our quick guide covering how to enter The Shaded Castle in Elden Ring.

How to enter The Shaded Castle in Elden Ring

The entrance to The Shaded Castle isn’t obviously accessible, and you may have to spend some time locating it. But be careful. As mentioned, there are enemies located outside its walls. The castle is also surrounded by a poisonous bog. However, riding Torrent will provide protection from the poison and allow you to easily evade enemies.

This is how to enter The Shaded Castle in Elden Ring. Go to the northwest side of the castle and use Torrent to jump up the rocks and onto the castle walls. There is an obvious gap in the walls where you can enter. Alternatively, head to the southeast side of the castle. You should spot a ramp – climb up it and onto the walls. You can easily enter The Shaded Castle grounds from here. From this entrance, the Shaded Castle Ramparts Site of Grace is accessible.
