This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide explains where to find the Sattiq Cave dead drop in DMZ Untraceable mission.
Warzone 2.0‘s DMZ mode features a number of garbage dumpster dead drops throughout the Al Mazrah and Ashika Island maps.
Their primary function is as part of faction missions, which reward players with XP, unique unlockables, and more. Players must take special mission items from them or place things inside.
They can also be used to deposit valuables and cash to reduce weapon cooldown periods.
In the case of the Untraceable quest – which is a Tier 2 mission for the Legion faction – players need to do both.
The Untraceable mission requires you to find a dead drop at a specific location and retrieve the weapon inside. You then need to kill the Chemist. Once you’ve done that, you’re required to return the weapon to the dead drop.
However, finding the dead drop isn’t easy. That’s because the mission description isn’t quite accurate.
Sattiq Cave Dead Drop location in DMZ
This is where to find the Sattiq Cave dead drop in DMZ: The Sattiq Cave dead drop can be found north of the Sattiq Cave Complex map marker. It is not actually inside the Sattiq Caves, but rather in the vicinity of the Sattiq Caves. The dead drop is located at map coordinates ‘D4’.
When you reach the area the dead drop is in, you should see some medical equipment, tents, and an ambulance near a collapsed cave entrance.
A large number of hostile AI combatants will be patrolling the area, so be prepared to fight them.
The dead drop is a white dumpster (with white outlines) positioned between the collapsed cave entrance and a medical tent, as shown in the screenshot below.
Approach the marked dumpster and inside you will find a special stashed gun – the custom SP-X 80 sniper rifle. Take this weapon and use it to kill the Chemist in the radiation zone.
Once you’ve killed the Chemist, head back to the dead drop and deposit the weapon before you exfil and escape the DMZ match.
