The much-anticipated fifth season of Call of Duty: Warzone has made its debut, delivering a plethora of exciting content for its extraction mode, DMZ.
This seasonal update includes a range of new gameplay mechanics, including the Battle Revive, Scuba Gas Mask, Self-Revive Box, and Disguise. With these fresh additions, players can anticipate a dynamic shift and fresh strategic possibilities.
Notably, the update introduces an assortment of new Faction Missions that further enrich the storyline of Warzone and DMZ. Players find themselves engaged in an intense war between the recently introduced Konni faction and the long-standing Shadow Company.
By siding with Shadow Company, players gain access to Faction Missions supporting their aims. This opens up a host of new challenges that must be overcome.
One new mission is “The Old Place”. It is a tier 2 mission for Shadow Company that rewards players with 7,500 XP and a valuable Skeleton Key.
As part of the mission, players must head to the dangerous Building 21. Of course, you need a DRC Building 21 Access Card before you can gain access to the facility. So, ensure you have one.
Once you arrive, you have two objectives. You need to kill eight Konni soldiers and extract the “Extraction Protocol” from Building 21. But where can you find the Extraction Protocol?

Finding and killing Konni soldiers in Building 21 is easy. They can be found throughout the facility and are identifiable by the red accents on their gear.
Simply look out for their eye-catching apparel and this objective should be straightforward.
Where to find Extraction Protocol in Building 21
The Extraction Protocol will be dropped at random by Konni soldiers you kill.
When you have eliminated a group of them, check the floor and the Extraction Protocol will likely be there.
The Extraction Protocol glows blue so is hard to miss. Once you have found it, collect it and extract it from Building 21.
This will complete “The Old Place” mission in DMZ.
