This article explains what the Scuba Gas Mask is in Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ Season 5.

The fifth season of Call of Duty: Warzone is on its way and Infinity Ward has revealed what fans can expect in the upcoming season with a detailed roadmap.

While the reveal of 2023’s Call of Duty is probably the most hotly anticipated aspect of the upcoming season, there’s a lot of new Warzone and DMZ content for fans to get excited about, too.

Notably, DMZ, Warzone‘s extraction game mode, is getting a number of new enhancements. Players can get stuck into an array of exciting features in DMZ, including multiple maps to explore, a myriad of faction missions to complete, challenging boss encounters, and the discovery of concealed loot caches and special items.

A big addition to DMZ in Season 5 is a series of brand new field upgrades and items, uniquely tailored for this mode. Among these fresh additions is the “Scuba Gas Mask”. But what is the Scuba Gas Mask in Season 5?

What is the Scuba Gas Mask in DMZ Season 5?

The Scuba Gas Mask is a combination of the traditional Gas Mask and the Rebreather field upgrade.

The new item functions as a normal gas mask while also allowing for underwater breathing. Unlike the Rebreather field upgrade which requires manual activation, the new item is automatically equipped.

This enhanced gassy will allow players to spend more time underwater. This will make completing DMZ’s many underwater missions much easier.
