This Call of Duty: Warzone 2 guide provides a walkthrough of the DMZ Muddy Waters mission and explains where to find the Shadow Company USB stick, Ashika Island intel, and Crown intel locations.

Muddy Waters is one of many DMZ missions that sends players all over the place to hunt high and low for unique loot. It can prove challenging as you’ll likely come up against heavy resistance from enemy soldiers.

It is a Tier 1 mission for the Legion faction. This mission’s objectives require you to go to specific locations in search of three items found in different areas of Ashika Island. You must collect a Shadow Company USB stick, Ashika Island intel, and Crown intel.

While the mission’s objectives do give you some clues as to where these items can be found, their exact whereabouts aren’t clear.

Shadow Company USB stick & Ashika Island Beach Club Observatory Deck locations

The first part of Muddy Waters tasks you with finding and extracting the Shadow Company USB stick from the Ashika Island Beach Club observatory deck.

Once you arrive on Ashika Island, this should be your initial destination. The Ashika Island observatory deck can be found at map coordinates ‘F8’. Head south of the Beach Club stronghold and Ashika Island Town Hall. The observatory deck is located at the end of a pier.

When you reach the observatory deck, go underwater. You need to enter the building from beneath. Swim inside and look for a toolbox on the floor on the south side. The Shadow Company USB stick is inside the toolbox.

You must be quick while completing this objective. Your oxygen will run out fast and you’ll need to swim back to the surface for air.

Ashika Island intel location (Underground Waterway)

For the Ashika Island intel, head to the underground Waterway. The underground Waterway is located at the centre of Ashika Island underneath Tsuki Castle. It can be found at map coordinates ‘G5’. Heading east of this location will bring you to the entrance of the Waterway.

Make your way up the Waterway. At the far end you will see a white shipping container. The Ashika Island intel is inside the shipping container on the floor in the corner.

Crown Intel Location (Power Plant) in DMZ Muddy Waters

The final part of Muddy Waters sends you to the Power Plant in search of Crown intel. The Power Plant is a stronghold located at map coordinates ‘F4’.

Once inside the Power Plant, head to its control room on the south side of the building. The Crown intel is on the floor behind a large desk with control panels.

Now you have each item, it’s time to exfil from Ashika Island. Note that you must extract in order to complete the mission – simply collecting the items won’t be enough.
