Prior to the introduction of the wallet feature, acquiring that amount of money in DMZ was very difficult. Thankfully, the wallet allows you to store up to $100,000 between games.

The best way to get enough cash to buy the key is to complete Hunt squad contracts. Often, other Operators carry large amounts of money on their person.
