This Call of Duty: Warzone 2 guide provides a walkthrough of the DMZ Break Check mission and explains where to find the crash site and Waterways dead drop locations.

Faction missions in DMZ are some of the most fun and engaging aspects of the mode. And missions are even better when they span across multiple maps.

One mission like this is Break Check, which is a Tier 2 mission for the White Lotus faction.

Break Check’s objectives require you to go to specific locations in search of a car crash site and hard drive. Once you’ve done that, you need to head to Ashika Island to locate a dead drop.

Car Crash Site location

The first part of the DMZ Break Check mission requires you to “Locate the car crash site near the observatory.”

This is where to find the car crash site in Break Check. The car crash site can be found at map coordinates ‘E6’. It is located on the dirt road on the east side of the hill leading up to the observatory. The car is overturned and on fire so is easy to spot.

The Ashika Security Hard Drive is located next to the car. You need to collect this to complete the second part of the mission.

Ashika Island Waterways Dead Drop location

Once you’re done with the first two tasks, extract from Al Mazrah and deploy into Ashika Island. Ensure you bring the hard drive with you.

You need to find the Waterways dead drop on the island and deposit the hard drive there.

This is where to find the Waterways dead drop in Break Check. The Waterways dead drop is located at the centre of Ashika Island underneath Tsuki Castle. It can be found at map coordinates ‘G5’. Heading east of this location will bring you to the entrance of the Waterways. Make your way up the Waterways on the right side and you will arrive at a white dumpster. This is the dead drop. Open it and place the Ashika Security Hard Drive inside.

Doing this will finish the third and final task and complete the mission.

One thing I would mention. There is only one hard drive in the game. So if another operator gets here first, you will not be able to get the hard drive. Make sure you head here first
