The Dead Space remake voice actors have been officially confirmed via a social media community event.
The long-awaited reimagining of the sci-fi horror classic is just a couple of months away and we now know who will be voicing key characters.
This follows earlier confirmation that Gunner Wright – the voice of main character Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 – will return to voice Isaac in the remake.
Isaac – despite being the game’s protagonist – was silent in 2008’s Dead Space. Giving Isaac a voice in the remake will surely help deliver the “new level of immersion and quality” EA is promising.
The voice cast announcement took place on the Dead Space “The Bench” Instagram account. The account has been challenging fans to solve puzzles to unlock news and digital content ahead of the remake’s release.
There are a further eight ‘rewards’ still to be unlocked by fans before launch. So if you’re keen to find out everything there is to know about the Dead Space remake, it’s worth getting involved.

Dead Space Remake Voice Actors and Characters
EA has officially announced the following Dead Space remake voice actors:
Tanya Clarke – Nicole Brennan
Tanya Clarke reprises her role as Nicole, which she provided the voice and likeness for in Dead Space 2 back in 2011. Clarke is also known for her work as Becky in A Beautiful Mind, Emily Lotus in Banshee, Queen Rynda in Inhumans and more.
Anthony Alabi – Zach Hammond
Former NFL athlete Anthony Alabi will portray Hammond in the remake. Alabi previously starred in the Netflix comedy Family Reunion as Moz McKellan and appeared in recurring roles on Showtime’s Shameless, Amazon’s Bosch and Disney’s Raven’s Home.
Brigitte Kali Canales – Kendra Daniels
Brigitte Kali Canales plays Kendra in the remake. Prior to this, Canales’ recurring roles have included Rachel in Fear of the Walking Dead and Trace Martez in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Currently, Canales is also seen in S.W.A.T. as Officer Alexis Cabrera.
Faran Tahir – Challus Mercer
Mercer will be portrayed by Faran Tahir. Tahir is known for his work as Raza in Iron Man, Captain Robau in Star Trek, President Patel in Elysium and more.
EA is touting the game’s “enhanced audio and crisp, harrowing visuals that have been carefully reimagined”. And judging by its official gameplay trailer, fans are in for a bonafide survival horror experience when Dead Space arrives.
Dead Space remake will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 27 January 2023.
