Fifteen years since the launch of the original game, the Dead Space remake has arrived on consoles and PC. The new game resurrects the series with modern graphics and refined gameplay. But the terrifying horror remains.
Dead Space follows protagonist Isaac Clarke after he and his crew become stranded on the USG Ishimura while answering a distress call. Once onboard, they discover that murderous creatures – Necromorphs – have taken over the spaceship and are murdering the surviving crew.
In the game, Isaac must fight for survival and find a way off of the doomed ship. However, first he needs to find his girlfriend, Nicole, who happens to be the Ishimura’s chief medical officer.
Players must complete a series of tasks to fix various aspects of the Ishimura’s crumbling infrastructure. There are also plenty of items to collect to aid you in your dangerous mission.
Some of these are simple to get. Others are found in hard to reach places and it isn’t always clear how to get them.

Thankfully, you won’t have any necromorphs to contend with in this room. But reaching the item is a head-scratcher at first.
The item in question is located on top of some lockers and you will likely spot its green glow in the barely lit room.
It looks like it’s within touching distance – but this is a video game, so things can’t be that simple. So, what do you need to do to get the item?
This is how to get the item in the Zero-G Therapy Maintenance Room in Dead Space. You need to use Kinesis to get the item. Aim at the item (which is some Credits) and press Circle/B. The item will fly over to you. Collect it with X/A.
And there you have it! It’s that simple. This is a really handy trick for other hard to reach items in Dead Space, so remember it!
