There’s plenty of zombie-slaying action to enjoy. But that’s not all there is for players to do. There are also numerous lockboxes for players to find and loot.

However, lockboxes require unique keys. Specific zombies hold the keys and you must find and kill them.

One such lockbox is the West Cost Weights Cooler.

Strongman Cooler Key location in Dead Island 2

This is where to find the Strongman Cooler Key in Dead Island 2:

A zombie called Jake Jones has the key and will drop it when killed. The zombie is located on the north end of the Venice Beach promenade outside the Venice Beach Skate Things shop.

Once you have the key, go to the West Coast Weights Cooler and unlock it. Inside is the Superior Impactor Mace.
