This Dead Island 2 guide details the Poolside Container Key location.

In Dead Island 2, there’s plenty for players to do. Obviously, much of your time will be taken up killing zombies and completing the game’s main quest.

However, players can also unlock special lockboxes which grant unique loot and items.

To unlock a lockbox, you need the correct key. The keys are held by specific zombies which drop the key when killed.

One such lockbox is the Poolside Bio Container which is found at the Halperin Hotel.

But where do you find the key to open it? The guide below details the key’s location.

This is where to find the Poolside Container Key in Dead Island 2:

After completing the “Plumbing the Depths” main quest in the Ocean Avenue district, you will unlock the Missing Person notice board at the Serling Hotel. You will then be able to start a Lost & Found quest called “Missing: Jamal”. In the final part of the quest, you will go to Jamal’s crashed red pickup truck in the crater just off Lacuna Av in the Halperin Hotel district. A Slobber zombie called “Sunbather” will be there and it will drop the key when killed. Inside the container is a superior Puncturator Composite Sledgehammer.
