This Dead Island 2 guide details the Mailman’s Keys location and provides a walkthrough of the “My Mailman was a Zombie!” Lost & Found quest.
If you’re playing Dead Island 2 and are surprised at how fun and chaotic it is, you aren’t the only one. After numerous delays, it’s finally here and players are getting stuck into it.
The game features Lost & Found quests. These send players on the hunt for special keys to unlock crates of valuable items. One quest like this is “My Mailman was a Zombie!”.
Players can find the Special Delivery create outside Curtis’ residence early in the game. However, it requires the Mailman’s Keys to open.
Unfortunately, you must wait a while before you can get them. You need to activate the Lost & Found quest mentioned above first.
It can be started after reaching Venice Beach and accessing Fast Travel to return to Bel-Air. Go back to the Special Delivery crate.
There will be a clipboard on the floor called “Signature Required”. This will start the “My Mailman was a Zombie!” Lost & Found quest, which will ultimately lead you to the required keys.
The guide below details the Mailman’s Keys location and provides a walkthrough of the “My Mailman was a Zombie” quest.

Review the “Signature Required” journal entry. It will identify three addresses, indicating where the Mailman may have been. First, go to the GOAT Pen. Outside the front door are some packages to inspect.
Next, go through Curtis’ property and head to Glitterati Corner. Outside a front gate here will be more packages to inspect.
Mailman’s Keys location in Dead Island 2
This is where to find the Mailman’s Keys in Dead Island 2:
Go to the northernmost mansion on Alpine Drive (the mansion from the beginning of the game). At the front entrance of the property is a Slobber zombie called “Wayne the Mailman”. It is surrounded by a horde of other zombies. Kill it and it will drop the Mailman’s Keys.
Use the keys to unlock the Special Delivery crate. Inside is a rare gun called “Sharpshooter”.
