This Dave the Diver guide explains how to upgrade weapons.

It is hard to think of any games quite like Dave the Diver. This unique title – currently in Early Access on Steam – is an adventure RPG that combines deep-sea diving and fishing with restaurant management.

As Dave (the eponymous diver), you team up with friends Bancho and Cobra to open a new sushi restaurant. Of course, every restaurant requires ingredients to make food.

Many fish can be captured using the harpoon. But larger creatures such as sharks are more easily caught after killing them with a weapon. Weapons, such as guns, are also useful for fighting off any sea creatures that might attack you.

Guns can be upgraded in Dave the Diver to make them more useful and effective.

This guide explains what you need to do to upgrade weapons.

How to upgrade weapons in Dave the Diver

This is how to upgrade weapons in Dave the Diver:

To upgrade a gun, you need to collect a Gun Enhancement Kit. These can be found in weapon crates on the ground in the ocean. Gun Enhancement Kits will level a gun up and increase damage, range, and magazine size.

You can upgrade the Harpoon Gun via the iDiver app. However, upgraded Harpoon tips (such as the Shock Harpoon Tip) must also be found in the weapon crates underwater.

And that’s it. That is how to improve your weapons in Dave the Diver.
