The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta is out of the way as fans look forward to the release of the full game on 10 November. To share their excitement, players are posting insane clips of them enjoying MW3 that highlight the game’s faster movement mechanics.

One of the top complaints about last year’s Modern Warfare II was the more methodical and realistic movement and aiming mechanics that removed slide-cancelling, no-scoping and bunny-hopping.

For casual players, the change made the game a bit more accessible. However, CoD fanatics felt that it detracted from the fun, fast and arcadey feel that they had come to expect from the series.

Now, cracked Modern Warfare 3 players are sharing some awesome clips of them taking full advantage of the rapid movement in the new game.

X user and MW3 player @Entervene shared an impressive 58-second clip featuring ~23 kills and some seriously crazy movement. To accompany the video, they wrote, “farming blue-collar workers on #MW3”.

@Lazyv_ shared a video containing two impressive quick-scope gameplay clips: one where they got a ten-kill streak and one where they racked up five. The footage shows how MW3 movement mechanics like slide-cancelling and no-scoping are back as a key feature in cracked CoD montages.

Player @nagzavelli claimed that their gameplay showed “the fastest movement” in Modern Warfare 3 – and it’s hard to argue when you watch the footage. Nagz slides all over the place as he takes down numerous enemies in the dizzying 52-second clip.

However you look at it, cracked movement is undoubtedly back in MW3 and it makes for a very different game to last year’s Modern Warfare II.

Modern Warfare III launches next month for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
