This guide explains why you can’t open supply drops in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 DMZ and how to fix it.

Warzone 2.0 launched last month after a huge amount of speculation and anticipation. Players are now exploring Al Mazrah and getting to grips with everything it offers.

The revamped Call of Duty battle royale mode has changed the game in a number of ways by introducing new features such as the re-jigged looting system, the 2v2 gulag, and the split circle.

More subtle changes like reduced time-to-kill, aggressive AI, and the introduction of two and three plate armor vests have also mixed things up. And all these changes have resulted in a mixed reaction from players. Some love it, and others really don’t.

Still, one new feature that has received almost universal praise is the new DMZ game mode.

DMZ drops squads of up to three players into random locations around Al Mazrah. The aim of the game is to collect as much valuable loot and weaponry as you can before extracting within the given time-limit.

One way you can do this is by looting supply drops. Supply drops are large crates which will be dropped from destroyed supply planes.

Supply planes can be shot down by SAM Sites. SAM Sites are large missile launchers found throughout Al Mazrah. When you capture a SAM Site, it will shoot down a supply plane after a few moments and a supply drop will be marked on your Tac-Map.

However, players are encountering an unusual issue once they arrive at the supply drop. They can’t open it. So, why can’t you open supply drops in Warzone DMZ and how do you fix it?

Warzone DMZ: Can’t Open Supply Drops and How To Fix

Of course, the whole point of a supply drop is to loot its valuable contents. And if you can’t do this, they’re basically useless.

Thankfully, if you can’t open supply drops in DMZ, there’s a straightforward (albeit inconvenient) fix.

This is how to open supply drops in Warzone DMZ. If you can’t open supply drops in DMZ, you need to change ‘Interact/Reload Behavior’ in Controller settings.

Select ‘Tap to Reload’

To fix the problem, press the Options/Menu button and go to ‘Settings’. Select ‘Controller’ and scroll to ‘Gameplay’. Select ‘Interact/Reload Behavior’ and change this option from ‘Prioritize Interact’ to ‘Tap to Reload’.

You will now be able to open supply drops and loot the contents.

Unfortunately, there is no permanent fix for this issue if you prefer to use the Prioritize Interact option. Hopefully the problem is patched soon.
