Civilization VII – the next instalment in the acclaimed turn-based strategy series – has apparently been revealed after a promotional banner for the game appeared early on 2K’s website.

Users on Reddit quickly spotted the slip up and grabbed a screenshot. The banner featured the game’s logo, as well as buttons to “Wishlist Now” and “Watch Trailer”. Civilization VII was also listed as “Coming Soon”.

It is widely believed that 2K will officially reveal Civilization VII today at Summer Game Fest 2024. On May 16th, the event’s official X account said “2K plans to reveal the next iteration in one of 2K’s biggest and most beloved franchises at @SummerGameFest on Friday, June 7.”

The banner has now been removed, however it seemingly confirmed that a full reveal for the in-development title is imminent.

No further information about the game was included in the leak, but fans likely won’t have to wait long to find out more. Summer Game Fest begins today at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT/10pm BST/11pm CEST.
