This guide explains how to siphon gas in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular battle royale games in the world. The first iteration of the game, which was a part of 2019’s Modern Warfare, took place in the large area of Verdansk. Since then, Warzone‘s primary setting has shifted a couple of times: first to Caldera and now to Al Mazrah. Each map has been large in scale and, as a result, players regularly make use of vehicles to traverse the sprawling locales.
In Warzone 2, vehicles require fuel. This means that long drives often neccesitate a short pitstop at one of Al Mazrah’s many fuel stations. However, it is not uncommon to find yourself running low on gas when you are nowhere near a fuel station. This can present a significant problem.
Thankfully, the inclusion of gas cans means that it is possible to refuel on the go thus mitigating the risk of finding yourself stranded in the wilds of Al Mazrah. Still, gas cans only hold a finite amount of fuel and they need to be refilled if players want to use them multiple times.
A little known feature in Warzone allows players to siphon gas from other vehicles to refill empty gas cans. So, let’s go over how to siphon gas in Warzone and DMZ…

This is how to siphon gas in Warzone and DMZ: To siphon gas, you must have an empty or partially full gas can in your inventory (as shown by the percentage indicator next to the gas can icon).
- Stand next to the vehicle you want to siphon gas from.
- Open your inventory and highlight the gas can.
- Press R3/RS to siphon gas from the vehicle and refill your gas can.
