New promotional artwork has been released ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty Vanguard Season 2 update. It hints tanks and motorbikes are likely headed to Warzone Pacific on 14th February.

The artwork shows a female soldier riding a motorbike flanked by two male soldiers and a pair of tanks. Rumours indicate that the popular Ground War mode will be returning in Vanguard Season 2. However, the inclusion of the Warzone graphic on the new artwork suggests tanks and bikes could also be Caldera bound.

Motorbikes and Tanks

Official details of what fans can expect in Vanguard x Warzone Season 2 haven’t been confirmed. But the new artwork offers players a glimpse of what to expect. More vehicles would be an interesting addition to Warzone – but not necessarily for the right reasons.

Planes were added to Warzone in Caldera and met significant backlash. Many players felt they were significantly overpowered and called for their removal. We don’t yet know how tanks could be implemented. But if they are anything like the planes, they could be another problem for players to contend with.

Bugs and Issues

Between Vanguard‘s significant 36% drop in sales compared to 2020’s Black Ops Cold War and the numerous issues affecting Warzone‘s new Caldera map, things haven’t been going well for CoD as of late. Call of Duty Vanguard Season 2 was even delayed from its initial release date of 2nd February to allow for further “balancing and optimizing”.

A statement on the official Call of Duty blog addressing Vanguard Season 2’s delay stated: “To date, we’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done. For this reason, we have decided to reschedule the start of Season Two across Warzone Pacific and Vanguard to February 14. We will use this additional development time to deliver updates, including optimizations to gameplay, game balancing (including weapon and equipment balancing), to fix game stability and bugs, and to ensure an overall level of polish to improve the experience for players across VanguardWarzone PacificBlack Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare.”
