This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) guide details the best DG-58 loadout for multiplayer.

Burst-fire assault rifles are rarely considered the most viable weapons in Call of Duty. However, very occasionally, one will come along that stands out from the rest.

That’s exactly what MW3‘s DG-58 does. This is a three-round burst assault rifle that offers “excellent recoil control” and is highly effective in mid to long-range engagements. For a while, it was actually multiplayer’s meta assault rifle. However, it recently received a nerf and its power was slightly reduced.

With that being said, it is still a great choice for your custom loadouts. Unlocked via Armory Unlocks, players need to complete daily challenges to get their hands on the DG-58. And, compared to the game’s other Armory Unlocks, this should be one of your top priorities to unlock.

So, once you’ve earned yourself the DG-58, which attachments should you pair it with? Let’s get into it.

Best DG-58 loadout in MW3

Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor

Barrel: DG-56 LS18 Barrel

Optic: MK. 3 Reflector

Stock: Extended TP-9 Buttplate

Rear Grip: Varanus Steady Grip

With these attachments, players can expect slightly increased damage as well as enhanced accuracy, range, and recoil control.

While this will sacrifice a small amount of mobility and handling, this loadout looks to play to the weapon’s strengths. Therefore, this build will be great in a variety of in-game scenarios.

It is also likely to perform well in Warzone once MW3 has been integrated in early December. However, players may wish to switch out the Shadowstrike Suppressor in favour of the 60 Round Drum. Although, this will make further cuts to mobility and handling.
