How To Tune Weapons in Modern Warfare 2
Once you have it unlocked, weapon tuning opens the door to much deeper customisation.
If you already felt overwhelmed by the plethora of attachments and their associated stat effects, tuning won’t make things any easier. But for those who love tinkering with their weapons to find the meta build, it is a new avenue of opportunity.
With weapon tuning, you can tweak things like handling, recoil, ADS speed, range, fire rate, and more.

- From the multiplayer menu, navigate to the “Weapons” tab.

- Press up and select “Gunsmith”.

N.B. Shortly after launch, Infinity Ward removed the weapon tuning feature due to it causing bugs with the game. It will be reintroduced in a patch in the near future.
