What could be more terrifying than being stuck underground with an ominous monster stalking you from the darkness? That’s the question that Amnesia: The Bunker seeks to answer in the latest installment of the survival horror series.
After you progress on from the game’s starting area and out through the Administration Room, you enter a deep and complex labyrinth. To make matters worse, your path is blocked by locked doors and emergency lockdown gates. Of course, you need to get through these gates in order to find your way out.
At first glance, the solution here seems simple enough. After venturing out into the halls of the bunker, you soon come across a wheel used to raise and lower the emergency lockdown gates. Unfortunately, it breaks on use. And this means you need to fix it to move forward on your mission.

This is how to repair the emergency lockdown wheel in Amnesia: The Bunker: You must find a replacement wheel to lift the emergency lockdown. First, go to the Mission Storage room by going through the vent to the right of the locked doors. Once inside, look for the locker belonging to “J Delisle”.
Next, go to the Officer Quarters and find his room. It is the last one on the left of the corridor. To get inside, go into the Lounge room next door and look for the vent in the far corner. To find it, you need to move two barrels out of the way.
With the barrels to one side, move the grate covering the vent, and then remove the planks that are blocking entry into Delisle’s room.
Once in the room, you will see J Delisle’s body on the floor. Collect his dog tag and rotate it to reveal the locker code. The code is 8620.
Return to the Mission Storage room, unlock the locker, and retrieve the wheel. Finally, go back to the emergency lockdown control and use the wheel to lift the gates.
