Alan Wake 2: How to get out of the morgue

The morgue in Alan Wake 2

This guide explains how to get out of the morgue in Alan Wake 2.

When FBI agents Saga Anderson and Alex Casey arrive at Cauldron Lake, they discover a viscous murder involving one of their own.

Like Dana Scully in The X-Files TV series, Anderson is both an FBI agent and a coroner. That means she can perform autopsies on deceased people when they are involved in criminal activity.

With that in mind, Anderson and Casey head over to the morgue at the Bright Falls Sheriff’s Station with the hope of uncovering some vital clues that point to Agent Nightingale’s killers.

Much to their surprise, Nightingale comes back to life (despite missing his heart) and attacks them in the morgue. Two police officers are killed and the agents are left baffled by what they’ve just experienced.

Once I dealt with Nightingale, I found myself unable to leave the morgue despite trying the exit. It turns out that I needed to complete some activities in Anderson’s Mind Palace before I could progress further in the game.

So, let’s go over how to get out of the morgue in Alan Wake 2.
