Marvel’s Spider-Man was first released on PS4 four years ago in 2018. It was a smash-hit for Sony and developer Insomniac.
It delivered an incredible combination of high-flying, web-slinging action and an engaging story full of great characters.
Spider-Man went on to become one of the best-selling PS4 games and for good reason. It was one of the best and most popular of the last generation.
Now, in 2022, Spider-Man is about to be released on PC. That means a different group of gamers will be able to experience it for the first time and see what all the fuss was about.
In case you need a reminder, Marvel’s Spider-Man tells the story of Peter Parker some years after he become the titular superhero. He’s 23 years old and working as a research assistant for Dr. Otto Octavius.
The game drops you into Peter’s Spidey suit and a life-like recreation of New York City. It’s a joy to explore but is packed full of dangerous enemies and tricky puzzles.
One example of this is the museum statue puzzle at the Fisk estate. You play as Mary Jane Watson during this brief flashback.
After investigating the various exhibits, Mary Jane sneaks into a backroom after noticing an interesting statue.
Once inside the room, you must solve a puzzle with the statue which involves moving body parts to a specific position. If you’re stuck with it, you’re not the only one.

This is how to solve the museum statue puzzle in Spider-Man. First, explore the room and look for clues. The first clue is a picture on the wall of the curator and Fisk. The statue is also in the picture, but it’s posing differently. Locate the nearby desk for the second and third clues – a pamphlet and a book.
On the cover of the pamphlet, you’ll notice a picture of the statue – but it’s holding something. Next, inspect the book. Some text explains the statue can move and its most common pose is mouth closed, left arm down, and right palm facing forward.
Go to the statue and move its body parts into these positions. MJ will then mention that a piece is still missing – the item from the pamphlet.
Approach the display table on the other side of the room. It has a number of items on it. Pick up the item on the far right side.
Now, go back to the statue and MJ will place the item in its left hand. And that’s it – you’ve solved the puzzle.
You’ll now have access to Fisk’s secret files and the game’s story will progress.
