Fallout is one of the most beloved game series of all time. When Amazon announced a TV series based on the hit games, expectations were pretty high. But now a new leak from the set has given us our first glimpse of Fallout‘s iconic Power Armour and Vaults. And we are excited.
The series entered production earlier this month with Jonathan Nolan (Westworld) in the director’s chair.
Actors Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Desperate Housewives), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), and Ella Purnell (Army of the Dead) are set to star in the series.
With production starting on the series, leaked set photos are making their way online. And they are offering fans their first glimpse of live action Fallout.

Super-Duper Mart
Just over a week ago, photos leaked of a Super-Duper Mart set that had sprung up in Staten Island.
Super-Duper Mart appears in Fallout 3 as a long-abandoned grocery store near to the post-apocalyptic city of Megaton.
With the discovery of this set, it looks like the upcoming Amazon series will focus on the events of Fallout 3, which is set in the Capital Wasteland (Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C.).
As well as the Super-Duper Mart itself, the set photos show unmistakable Fallout-esque 1940s/50s vehicles.
Power Armour, Vaults and More!
The new leaks are a little bit more extensive than the first. In them, we see a Vault interior, an actor wearing a Vault Suit, and a set of the legendary Power Armour.
For those who don’t know, Vaults are where survivors of the nuclear apocalypse took shelter when the bombs first fell.
In the games, the Vaults serve a secret double purpose. As well as bomb shelters, they also served as testing areas for human experiments.
Power Armour is the iconic armour worn by the Brotherhood of Steel and others in the Fallout games.
Reddit user u/Fruhmann shared the above photo saying they had been sent it from the Fallout set.

Fallout TV Series Release Date
At present, an official release date for the Fallout TV series is yet to be confirmed.
With production only just beginning, it’s likely fans won’t get to see the series until late-2023 or early-2024. But we can’t wait!
