Stray: How To Get Through Skylight Windows – Dead City

The skylight windows in Stray Dead City chapter

This Stray guide explains how to get through the skylight windows in the Dead City chapter.

Stray is finally here after months of anticipation. And it hasn’t disappointed.

The new game from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive delivers a puzzle packed adventure where you control a cat on his mission to reunite with his family.

He joins up with robot drone B-12 and the two must work together to open a sealed city and save its robot inhabitants.

Stray offers everything you could want from a game where you play as a cat. Run, jump, scratch – it’s all here. And it’s great fun.

The cat’s adventure in Stray involves solving puzzles every step of the way. Some are easy while others can leave you stuck and testing the limits of your brain power.

Dead City is the second chapter of the game. First, you need to get past a spinning fan. After that, you will come across some skylight windows that you need to get through.

Let’s take a look at how to break/how to get through the skylight windows in Stray

How To Get Through Skylight Windows in Stray – Dead City

Just before you get to the windows, you will come across a number of paint cans lined up along the edge of a scaffolding platform.

As you approach each one, you have the chance to interact with and knock the cans of the platform.

This is preparing you for what you need to do next.

This is how to get through the skylight windows in Stray: Climb on top of the AC units on the wall and up to the ledge. Then approach the paint can on the right side. Interact with the can (Triangle on PS4/PS5) until the paint can falls through the skylight window below.

Push the paint can off the ledge and through the window.

And there you have it! You will now be able to get through the broken skylight window and down into the room below. Simply climb down and head on with your journey.
