Elden Ring has certainly lived up to the anticipation. It’s breaking records and praise is pouring in. And much of that praise is being directed at the game’s incredible setting – the Lands Between. The Lands Between is packed full of interesting and awe-inspiring locations that are dying to be explored. One of these is Redmane Castle, which can be found in Caelid. Redmane Castle is surrounded by enemies, and it isn’t immediately obvious how to get inside. It’s also one of Elden Ring‘s most important landmarks. If you’re still early in the game, it may be best to delay visiting until a bit later. But if you’ve already come across it, you likely want to know how to access it. So, this our quick guide covering how to enter Redmane Castle in Elden Ring.
How to enter Redmane Castle in Elden Ring
Accessing Redmane Castle isn’t too dissimilar to entering Fort Gael. The main difference is there are more enemies to be wary of. Redmane Castle will present a formidable obstacle for inexperienced players, so consider whether you’re up to the challenge. If not, take some time to progress further through the game and level up before returning.
This is how to enter Redmane Castle in Elden Ring. Begin by crossing the bridge near the Impassable Greatbridge Site of Grace. Make your way up to the castle gate. You’ll notice the gate is shut and you can’t open it. At the gate, go right to loop round the castle. Use Torrent to safely jump to the cliffs below. Follow the rocky path to go behind the castle. Eliminate the Giant Bat enemies as you go. Next, follow the rocks up and round to the other side of the castle. Use Torrent to jump across a gap between two rocks. You’ll arrive in a graveyard. Kill the enemies there, then use the nearby ladder to climb up into the castle.
In the graveyard, you’ll also notice some stairs leading to a locked door. This is a shortcut allowing for quicker access to Redmane Castle, however it must first be opened from the other side.
