Elden Ring‘s huge and varied world is packed full of things to do and places to discover. And the Lands Between has countless exciting locations and challenging bosses. You’ll quickly discover that tough foes are waiting round every corner. But before you take them on, it’s important to ensure you’re appropriately levelled. One of the hardest bosses you’ll come across early on in Elden Ring is Godrick the Grafted. This demi-god is a ferocious opponent and likely the hardest foe you’ll have come up against so far. So, before you jump right into the immense fight against Godrick, take a moment to consider if you’re up to the challenge. Read on to find out what level you should be to fight Godrick The Grafted in Elden Ring

What level to fight Godrick the Grafted in Elden Ring

If you thought Margit was a tough cookie, just wait till you get to Godrick. At least for me, Godrick’s initial phase was relatively straightforward. It’s when you reach his terrifying second phase that you’re facing real problems. Armed with the fire-breathing head of a dragon, Godrick unleashes incredible power that can wipe you out in an instant. Of course, you can utilise your spirit summons and/or Nepheli Loux to help you. And if you’re struggling, I’d definitely recommend it.

This is what level to fight Godrick in Elden Ring. As with Margit (and many bosses in Elden Ring), there’s a good chance you’ll reach Godrick before you’re sufficiently levelled. Although I’d recommend getting to level 35-40 before facing him. However, you could take him on earlier if you fancy a real challenge. Alternatively, you could spend a bit more time developing your skills and abilities before if you want to make things a bit easier.

Having said that, unless you’re ridiculously over-levelled, Godrick is never going to be ‘easy’. It doesn’t matter when you fight him, he’ll put you through your paces. But there are some useful tips to bear in mind. Try attacking him from behind while he’s distracted by your spirit summon or Nepheli Loux. It’s also worth keeping your distance and using various objects throughout the boss arena for cover. Once he starts using fire attacks, he’s capable of inflicting massive damage at great range – so watch out!
