Elden Ring is finally here after years of mystery and hype. And it has certainly lived up to the anticipation. Praise is pouring in from across the video game industry. Elden Ring‘s incredible reception has also persuaded lots of gamers to check out the Soulsborne genre for the first time. But these games are known for being deliberately vague and keeping key information from players. This even applies to some of Elden Ring‘s simplest features, such as saving the game. After a long play session, players want to be sure their hard-earned progress is safe. So, in case you just can’t figure it out, read on to find out how to save in Elden Ring.

How to save in Elden Ring

As mentioned, Elden Ring doesn’t hold your hand. And you’ll be left wondering how much of the game works even after you’ve finished its brief tutorial. As you battle through the Lands Between, you’ll come up against some seriously tough challenges. Once you overcome them, you’ll undoubtedly want to make sure you don’t lose your position in the game. But just how do you save your progress when you’re finished with Elden Ring for the day?

This is how to save in Elden Ring. Simply go to the Main Menu using the Options button on PlayStation/Xbox or Esc on PC. From there, select ‘System’ and go to the ‘Quit Game’ tab. Once you’re there, select ‘Quit Game’. This will return you to the title menu and save your progress.

There you have it. It is really straightforward and a quick way to ensure you don’t lose anything after all your hard work.
