That means people unfamiliar with FromSoftware games may be wondering how they can take advantage of Elden Ring‘s deep and varied features. How to write messages in Elden Ring

If you’re exploring the Lands Between and finding the numerous online messages left by other players useful, you may want to write one of your own. Thankfully, FromSoftware has made it super straightforward. Allow us to explain.

This is how to write messages in Elden Ring. Open the Main Menu using the Options button on PlayStation and Xbox or Esc on PC. Select ‘Messages’. First, choose a message template using the ‘Templates’ option. Then use the ‘Words’ option to choose specific words to complete your message. Once you’re done, select ‘Finish’ and your message will appear on the ground for other online players to read.

It’s important to remember that you can’t write whatever you want. You must use the predefined templates and words. This makes messages more like riddles than obvious statements. Despite being deliberately vague, they’re usually still helpful. You just need to think carefully about exactly what messages mean.
