This is how to write messages in Elden Ring. Open the Main Menu using the Options button on PlayStation and Xbox or Esc on PC. Select ‘Messages’. First, choose a message template using the ‘Templates’ option. Then use the ‘Words’ option to choose specific words to complete your message. Once you’re done, select ‘Finish’ and your message will appear on the ground for other online players to read.
It’s important to remember that you can’t write whatever you want. You must use the predefined templates and words. This makes messages more like riddles than obvious statements.
