Entire squad labelled “weakest link” in humiliating Warzone victory

One feature of Call of Duty: Warzone that doesn’t get talked about enough is squad labels. These overlooked player titles appear during the post-match cutscene after winning.

The labels are applied to each squad member and provide a brief summary of their contribution to the Warzone victory. Here are some examples of squad labels:

  • Immortal – Unbent, unbowed, unbroken
  • Pacifist – Victory without violence
  • Weakest Link – Lighter than air, and carried to victory
  • Supplier – Resupplied friendlies during combat operations

Each label also comes with its own victory animation for the operator it’s awarded to. For example, the “Immortal” player is shown holding an armour plate covered in bullet holes.

Pacifist, on the other hand, is seen relaxing and smelling a freshly-picked daisy.

Obviously, some squad labels are more complimentary than others. While the specific criteria for each label are unknown, everyone would surely be disappointed to receive “Weakest Link” in Warzone.

But that’s exactly what happened to an entire Warzone squad in a recent viral clip on TikTok.

The video, shared earlier this month by @eriksalinas, captures the moments after his squad have secured a not-so-hard-fought victory.

As the team approach Phillip Graves to “review” their performance, their chuckles can heard through their microphones.

First up is a Zombie Ghost operator, who receives the Weakest Link title and accompanying cutscene. A soldier is shown snatching their gun away because they can’t be trusted with it.

The Weakest Link label is then applied to the three other squad members, much to the team’s amusement.

It’s worth noting that the other operators are all bugged and invisible during their cutscenes, presumably due to each player receiving the same title.

Exactly how bad @eriksalinas’s team had to have played is anyone’s guess. But the clip has gone down a treat on TikTok, attracting 1.5 million views and 261K likes.

Commenters were quick to question how awful the squad must have been. One TikTok user said “Nah what was yalls stats lmao”, while another replied “How’s this even possible?!”

Despite the astonishment of other Warzone players, TikTok user ricardo6.ohh made the important point that a “win is a win”.
