This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) guide details the best Rival-9 loadout for multiplayer.

SMGs are always an excellent choice in Call of Duty multiplayer. However, there are usually a couple that far outperform the others. In MW3, your best SMG options are easily the Rival-9 or Striker.

Out of the two, the Rival-9 is arguably the most popular choice among players right now. That’s because it is highly agile and powerful – everything you could want in an SMG.

As is always the case, you need to equip the correct attachments to get the most out of it. And while there are many viable combinations, we think one build in particular should be your go-to.

Muzzle – Lacerta Compensator

Stock – EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock

Underbarrel – FTAC SP-10 Angled Grip

Magazine – 40 Round Mag

Rear Grip – RIVAL Vice Assault Grip

This build is all about harnessing the power of the Rival-9 and making it as accurate and easy to handle as possible. With this combination of attachments, recoil will be minimised. This will make the gun far more effective at range.

Similarly, with enhanced handling and mobility, players can expect better performance from the Rival-9 during close-quarters encounters.

If you don’t have all the necessary attachments unlocked, now would be the time to do it. The Rival-9 is likely to be a meta weapon following MW3‘s Warzone integration. Therefore, if you want to be performing at your best in Urzikstan, you should prioritise its unlockable attachments today.
