MWZ: What does the Doghouse do? Explained

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Zombies (MWZ) guide explains what the Doghouse does.

Zombies is back in MW3 and it delivers a fresh take on the familiar mode. Based on Modern Warfare II‘s DMZ mode, MWZ is more of a looter shooter than the round-based survival game we’re used to.

But it still features plenty of easter eggs and unique features that you won’t find anywhere else in Call of Duty. When you first start exploring Urzikstan, you will notice many different new map markers. One of these is ‘Doghouse’. Its icon on the tac-map resembles a dog in a kennel.

When you go to the map marker, you will find a large burning kennel. Interacting with it will cause the words “feed me” to appear on it.

But what exactly do you need to with the Doghouse in MWZ and what’s the point of it? After checking it out for ourselves, we have the answer.

What does the Doghouse do in Modern Warfare Zombies?

The Doghouse can be used to summon a friendly hellhound companion called Chubba. Chubba will assist your squad with fighting zombies and enemy soldiers.

To summon Chubba, kill zombies near the Doghouse. One of them will drop a “Chunk of Flesh”. Collect it and interact with the Doghouse. The Doghouse will disappear and Chubba will appear in its place.

Chubba will follow you automatically and attack any enemies you come across, so you don’t need to worry about commanding or controlling it.
