Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is just weeks away. Many fans are cautiously optimistic about the next game after a number of reassuring announcements about features, maps, and modes. Yesterday, Activision unveiled MW3‘s open-world Zombies mode and it looks promising. In addition, the company announced the new Zombie Ghost skin.

Zombie Ghost is exactly what you’d expect – an undead version of the fan-favourite operator Simon “Ghost” Riley. The operator skin also features Ghost’s recognisable SAS uniform and skull mask.

We already know that unlockables (including operator skins) will carry over from Modern Warfare II to Modern Warfare III. Therefore, this undead version of Ghost will be available in both games.

How to get Zombie Ghost in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone

This is how to get the Zombie Ghost operator in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone:

You must pre-order any digital version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III to get the Zombie Ghost operator. This includes the Standard/Cross-Gen Edition or Vault Edition.

When will Zombie Ghost be released?

The Zombie Ghost operator skin will be released on 27 September 2023 when Season 06 begins.

That means anyone who pre-orders Modern Warfare III now will have to wait until that date to use the skin.

Activision has also confirmed that if you pre-order MW3 after the start of Season 06, the skin will be available to use immediately.

It is currently unknown if this new Ghost operator skin will be available to purchase separately. However, if previous pre-order exclusive skins are anything to go by, this is unlikely.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to launch on 10 November 2023 for PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will be the first Call of Duty game released following the closure of the original Warzone.
