Starfield: What to do in Temple Eta and how to solve puzzle

Temple Eta in Starfield

This guide explains what to do in Temple Eta and how to solve the puzzle for the “Into The Unknown” mission.

The long awaited space RPG from Fallout and The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda has finally arrived. Starfield takes players on a mission across the galaxy to discover the answer to a mystery that could impact the entire universe.

Central to that quest are the mysterious alien artefacts that are being hunted by the interstellar explorers, Constellation.

Interaction with each artefact bestows the finder with a vision of the universe. What these visions mean is anyone’s guess – but it’s your mission to find out.

The “Into The Unknown” mission takes you to Temple Eta on Procyon III in the Procyon A system. The temple matches the gravitational signature of the artefacts.

Once inside, there are several spinning disks in the middle. At this point, some players are finding themselves confused at what to do next.

So, let’s go over what to do in Temple Eta and how to solve the puzzle.

This is what to do in Temple Eta in Starfield and how to solve the puzzle: With the rings spinning in the middle, look for the glistening clusters of lights around the room. You must hit four in succession within a short time limit to complete the puzzle.

The temple interior is in zero gravity, which means that you have to float around the room to look for and hit the lights.

When you see a light cluster, use the sprint button to boost into it. If you hit it in time, you’ll hear a musical tone.

Once all four have been hit within the time limit, the spinning rings will merge into a single ring with a portal at the centre.

Float into the portal to learn a special power. You will then be transported outside of the temple.
