This guide explains how to change exosuits in Exoprimal.
Exoprimal is the exhilarating dinosaur-themed third-person shooter by Capcom, which recently burst onto PC, Xbox, PS4, and PS5. While its initial launch on Steam was modest, peaking at around 4,500 players on 16 July, it was the Game Pass release that truly stole the spotlight, drawing a substantial and enthusiastic player base.
In the world of Exoprimal, players immerse themselves in a dynamic fusion of PvE and PvP gameplay, embodying the roles of exofighters. Divided into two teams, they compete to achieve objectives set forth by the rogue AI, Leviathan. Players can choose from a diverse array of exosuits, each falling into distinct classes—Assault, Tank, or Support—each equipped with unique weapons and abilities.
The heart of the action lies within the game’s primary mode, aptly named “Dino Survival,” where teams confront dinosaurs and mutated prehistoric creatures, embarking on missions like the Dinosaur Cull and VTOL Defense. As players progress through the Survival Pass, they unlock a trove of enticing cosmetic items, while accumulating experience points grants access to character upgrades and engrossing story missions.
In the game, there are a number of different exosuits to try and players will no doubt want to test out them all. This is how to change exosuits in Exoprimal…
How to change exosuits in Exoprimal
This is how to change exosuits in Exoprimal: While in a game, Players are able to change exosuits between respawns. This means you must die before you can change to another exosuit. From here, simply select the exosuit you wish to swap to from the available options on the left side of the screen.
Prior to matchmaking, it is also possible to change your default exosuit. This means you can start a game in exactly the role you want to play in. To do this, select the exosuit image under “Equipment” in the game mode menu (as shown below).
Next, select your desired exosuit from the list by using the “Add to Favorites” button (X on Xbox and Square on PlayStation). It will now be set as your default suit for the beginning of the next game.
