The indie 3D platformer was released on 24 May 2023 and sees players climbing high above the sky. But it’s super risky – and that’s where the thrill comes from. This popular climbing game comes from developer SCKR Games. You play as Jackie, a teenager living in poverty with dreams of doing bigger and more exciting things.
In Only Up!, the world has “gone crazy” and now Jackie has the opportunity to live a completely different life. One where he climbs all kinds of bizarre and fantastical objects high above the city.
Your main objective in Only Up! is to get as high as possible to discover the “secrets and mysteries” that await above the clouds. For gamers across social media, the game’s appeal comes from its impressive speedruns. But it’s equally as captivating when players spend hours climbing only to fall and be forced to restart.

Only Up! is not available on consoles. This includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. There is no way to play it on these devices. It can only be played on PC and is also unavailable on macOS.
That may be disappointing news for those intrigued by the game. But if its popularity sustains then there is a possibility it may come to consoles in the future.
