This Dave the Diver guide provides a walkthrough of the “Beyond Rock Pile” mission and explains where to find the Rock Pile.
In Dave the Diver, you play as Dave (obviously). He’s an adventurous diver that has embarked on an exciting quest to gather delectable ingredients for a growing sushi establishment. From dawn till dusk, you will plunge to the depths of the ocean and must skilfully snatch elusive fish and procure precious treasures. When darkness falls, he assumes his role as the restaurant’s co-manager, partnering with his friend (and chef) Bancho.
As part of the game’s missions, players will encounter various interesting characters who give an assortment of quests. These tasks may entail unearthing extraordinary locations, capturing distinct fish species, or amassing particular artifacts.
One such quest is “Beyond Rock Pile”. Dave is tasked with using a bomb given by Cobra to get behind a mysterious rock pile in the ocean. This is part of the game’s overarching plot to uncover the mysteries of the sea people.
But before you can use the bomb, you must first locate the Rock Pile. So, where is it?

Where to find the Rock Pile in Dave the Diver
This is where to find the Rock Pile in Dave the Diver:
Simply follow the compass provided in-game. This will lead you to the Rock Pile at approximately 90m depth. You can see an image of the Rock Pile you’re looking for below:
The Rock Pile will not be in the same location in every player’s game. However, it will look identical and the method of reaching it by following directions on the compass is the same.
Once you arrive, install the bomb. It will detonate, revealing the entrance to a Sea People Record Chamber. Investigate three points of interest (marked on-screen by magnifying glasses).
You will then be instructed to take a picture of the large mural on the wall of the chamber. Follow the instructions provided to do this successfully.
Next, you need to collect an artifact inside the chamber before making your way back up to the boat.
Once you’re back on the boat, “Beyond Rock Pile” will be complete.
