How to solve Easel and Picture Frame puzzle in Layers of Fear
This is how to solve the easel and picture frame puzzle in Layers of Fear:
Facing the centre of the room from the door, go to the left corner next to you. There is paint smeared up the wall next to a light. When you turn around, another frame will have appeared on one of the easels. Next, go to the corner to the right of the door where the paint and brushes are. Look through the picture frame ahead and you will see another picture frame on the easel on the opposite side of the room.
However, this will only be visible when looking through the frame in the corner to the right of the door.
The frame for the easel in front of the headless statue is visible by looking through the frame to the left of the statue at an angle. Once you’ve observed both ‘invisible’ frames, a third frame will materialise.
Look through this frame and it will reveal a door, however it is locked. Go back to the frame closest to the new door and observe the frame in front of the statue. This will cause it to materialise.
Approach the frame in front of the statue and the statue will disappear. This reveals a key on the pedestal. Collect the key and use it unlock the door with the paint on.
You can now leave the room and continue to progress through the mansion.
