When the game begins, you play as a new protagonist — The Writer. After a brief introduction to her story in the lighthouse, you shift to The Painter.
As he desperately explores his ever-changing mansion, he has just one goal in mind. To complete his masterpiece. But this requires the correct supplies. These are scattered throughout the warped building which can be turned upside down in an instant.
You must also complete a series of puzzles throughout the mansion in order to progress the story. One of these revolves around a locked chest in a room that has “Look Closer” written on the wall. The chest’s padlock requires a combination, but what is it and how do you find it?

To find the combination, you must light the red candles around the room. This will transform the nearby paintings and reveal the numbers for the combination, as shown below.
Once you have unlocked the chest, take the key inside to leave the room and progress further into the game.
