This Dead Island 2 guide details the Serling Reception Key location.

Dead Island 2 is here at last. Now gamers are finally experiencing all the zombie-slaying action it provides.

When you’re not slicing your way through hordes of the undead, much of your time in Dead Island 2 will be spent searching for keys.

Keys in this game unlock lockboxes. They are found throughout HELL-A and offer up valuable loot and weapons to players.

But there’s a catch. Players must find the correct keys to open them.

One such lockbox is the Serling Reception Safe. It is behind the Serling Hotel reception desk.

So, where do you find the key you need to open it? The guide below details the key’s location.

Kill the zombie and it will drop the key to the safe. Once you have the key, head back to the safe and use the key to open it. Inside the safe is a superior Melee Mutilator Mod.
