Keys are also huge part of the game. That’s because players need to find them to unlock Dead Island 2‘s numerous lockboxes. These lockboxes contain valuable loot and weapons for players to collect.

One such lockbox is the Security Guard’s Cooler, which is found in the Monarch Studios area of the game. It requires the corresponding key to open.

This is where to find the Security’s Cooler Key in Dead Island 2:

Return to Monarch Studios using fast travel after reaching Venice Beach. Enter the trailer at the end of Action Alley and a zombie called Monarch Security will be inside. Kill it and it will drop the key.

Use the key to unlock the cooler and inside is a rare Damaging Police Baton.
